Signs are a decorative item that allows you to place a Sign with a custom message in the world. If you are looking at the ground when you place the Sign, it will have a pole. If you are looking at a wall when you place it, it will become a wall mounted Sign. Signs are mainly used in Multiplayer to inform other players where places are or to inform people who buildings belong to.
